Mechanical Technology is an elective Agricultural class offered at Durand.  Mechanical Technology is a class designed for 11th and 12th grade students.  Students in this class will have the opportunity to learn about agricultural and shop safety, electrical wiring, electrical motors, small engines and components, hot and cold metal working, agricultural construction and design a complete a personal project.  Students will perform a major component of this curriculum through hands on learning.  Students will have the opportunity to participate in the FFA and career development events at the local, state and national level.
