Guest TeachersIf you are interested in becoming a guest teacher for Durand Area Schools, you must be registered with Professional Education Services Group (PESG). To register for substitute teaching, contact PESG directly at www.subpass.com or 866-782-7277. All questions should be directed to PESG. Volunteer Release FormThe Board of Education of the Durand Area School District recognizes that certain programs and activities can be enhanced through the use of volunteers who have particular knowledge or skills that will be helpful to members of the staff responsible for the conduct of those programs and activities. Any person who volunteers to work with the District shall be screened annually prior to being allowed to participate in any activity or program. Volunteers must complete the Volunteer Release Form and submit the same to their child's school building. Employee InjuryAll injuries must be reported promptly to your supervisor or building administrator. When it is unknown whether the injury or condition is work connected, the initial referral for medical care will be to the school district's designated medical facility. Unauthorized medical treatment may not be accepted for payment or reimbursement. Please complete a Report of Injury for all injuries. Family Medical Leave ActFMLA Regulations requires all employers to post the updated FMLA notice.
